Charles lights up at gloomy musician
We live in such interesting times, The Prince of Wales has declared his devotion to Leonard Cohen.
Next we'll discover that Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth has a widey for Rob Zombie...
LONDON: At last we know how the Prince of Sorrows, or Prince Charles, unwinds - by listening to his favourite singer, the Poet Laureate of Pessimism.
The future king is a big fan of Leonard Cohen, the Canadian folk-rock musician whose albums, in the words of one reviewer, should be sold with razor blades.
Charles, 57, said of his own favourite, Cohen: "He's remarkable ... I mean, the orchestration is fantastic and the words, the lyrics and everything.
He's a remarkable man and he has this incredibly sort of laid-back gravelly voice. It's terrific stuff."
